These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain how Scrapyard Golf & Strikeyard Bowling sells and manages tickets for our 21-hole course (“Tickets”). They apply to all online and in-person bookings, for groups and for corporate events (“Bookings”).
Please read these Terms carefully before booking. By making a Booking, you agree to these Terms.
We may update these Terms occasionally. The version in place at the time you make a Booking will apply.
1. About Us
Scrapyard Golf & Strikeyard Bowling currently operates one venue in Glengormley, Northern Ireland.
The venue and this website are operated by Brilliant Balls Ltd.
All bookings are managed by the same company.
2. Other Policies
We handle personal data in accordance with UK privacy and cookie laws.
When you purchase Tickets, you will be redirected to Roller Software to process your payment securely.
These Terms replace all previous terms and apply exclusively to your Booking.

“Writing” includes email, social media messages, or live chat.
4. Venue Information
Our venue includes flashing lights, UV lights, and loud music.
Only assistance dogs are permitted inside.
We cannot accept liability for loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused by proven venue negligence.
CCTV operates for safety and crime prevention. Signs are displayed, and our CCTV policy is available on request.
We have a zero-tolerance policy towards violence, abuse, or behaviour that affects other guests or staff.
We may refuse entry or ask a guest to leave. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.
Guests must follow all venue safety rules. You may be charged for damage caused by you or your party.
If you book for others, you are responsible for their behaviour.
5. Under-18s
Under-18s are welcome.

Anyone 12 or under must be accompanied by someone 18+ at all times.

Last tee-off for under-18s is 9pm, giving enough time to complete the course.

Other activities we offer may be restricted due to party size and age.
6. ID Requirements
We operate a Challenge 25 policy.
If asked, guests must show valid physical photo ID. Accepted ID includes:

Driving licence (full or provisional)

PASS/Citizen Card
Scans or photos of ID are not accepted.
If you booked a student or senior ticket, you must show valid ID. If not, you may be asked to pay the general admission price.
If you booked a group or corporate session, every attendee must bring ID.
No refund is issued if entry is refused due to lack of ID.
7. Arrival & Check-In
Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked time.
Bring either a printed ticket or your confirmation email on your phone.
If you do not have proof of booking, we may not be able to check you in.
If you’re running late, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll try to accommodate you, but:

Your time slot is not guaranteed

We may not be able to move your Booking
-
Refunds are not offered for late arrivals
8. How Long Does It Take?
Golf - Most groups complete the course in 45–60 minutes, depending on group size and venue busyness.
Last tee-off is 9 pm sharp.
Bowling – It averages at 10 minutes per person per game, so please allow enough time between booking activities. If purchasing Bowling by time, your time will start from your booking time.
Simulator – Tickets are purchased in 15-, 30-, or 60-minute time slots. Your time will start from your booking time.
Darts - Tickets are purchased in 30 or 60-minute time slots. Your time will start from your booking time.
Crazy Pool – We recommend allowing 10-15 minutes per person in the group. It could be longer if the course is busy and the players' ability levels.
9. Prices
Pricing for each activity differs and can be found on our websites www.scrapyardgolf.co.uk or www.strikeyardgolf.co.uk.
Each activity has its own information page with current updated pricing.
Walking in will incur an additional £0.50p per ticket. Booking online reduces the ticket pricing.
Damaged or broken putters incur a £5 replacement charge.
Prices include VAT and may change.
10. Making a Booking
Bookings are made through our website, which links to Roller Software.
Some activities have minimum and maximum player counts, depending on ticket type. Please review the information pages on the activities for information.
A contract exists only once we email you a Booking confirmation. If we cannot accept your Booking, we will notify you and issue a refund if payment has already been made.
Keep your Booking reference number for future contact.
If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us.
11. Payment
We accept major card providers including Visa and Mastercard (credit and debit).
Full payment is required before your Booking is confirmed.
For some larger bookings, we may send a payment link. Payment must be completed within 24 hours or the Booking may expire.
12. Receiving Your Tickets
Your confirmation email acts as your ticket.
If you do not receive it within 24 hours, contact us.
A reminder email is sent 24 hours before your time slot (unless booked same-day).
13. Changing Your Booking
If you need to amend your Booking, email info@scrapyardgolf.co.uk as soon as possible.
We will try to help, but changes are subject to:

Only one change per Booking
Refund & reschedule rules:
-
48+ hours notice: full refund
-
Between 24–48 hours: 50% refund
-
Less than 48 hours: no refund; however, we may allow a rebook Mon–Thu only (excluding public/bank holidays)
If the course is sold out, you may not be able to add more players.
14. Refunds
You are eligible for:
-
Full refund with 48+ hours’ notice
-
50% refund before the day of your Booking and within 48 hours
No refunds are offered if:
-
You change your mind
-
You fail to show valid ID
-
You are refused entry or asked to leave
-
You miss your tee-off time
-
You leave the course early
-
A third-party provider (e.g., transport/food) cancels
-
You request changes we cannot accommodate
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
15. Group Bookings (15+ players)
Group bookings are available for 15+ players.
Golf - Groups are split into a maximum of five per tee-off across consecutive times.
Bowling - Groups are split into a maximum of six per lane, simultaneously or consecutively.
Darts - Groups are split into a maximum of four per lane, simultaneously or consecutively.
Crazy Pool - Groups are split into a maximum of five per table across consecutive times.
Payment rules:

Full payment must be made within 24 hours of receiving the invoice
-
If not paid, the Booking may be cancelled
-
Refunds are available only with 7 days’ notice
Within 48 hours, we may be able to rebook, depending on availability.
Unused places are non-refundable, but we may offer a rebook at an off-peak time within 7 days.
16. Our Right to Cancel or Suspend
We may refuse entry, ask guests to leave, or cancel a Booking due to misconduct or safety concerns. No refund will be issued.
We may also delay or suspend tickets if:

We need to resolve technical issues
-
Your requested changes are being processed
-
Payment fails or is not accepted
17. Our Liability to You
We are responsible for losses that are:
-
caused by our breach of these Terms, and
-
reasonably foreseeable
We are not responsible for business losses, loss of profit, or losses caused by events outside our control.
We do not limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
18. Events Outside Our Control
This includes events such as extreme weather, strikes, technical failures, or government restrictions.
If such an event delays your tee-off time by more than 60 minutes or forces us to close, we will offer:

a rebook, or
-
a refund
19. Other Important Terms

These Terms do not affect your consumer rights.

We may transfer our rights; this will not affect your booking.
-
You may not transfer your rights without written approval.
-
If one part of these Terms is found unlawful, the rest still apply.

Northern Ireland law applies. You may bring proceedings in NI or in your home jurisdiction.
20. Complaints
We want every visit to be enjoyable.
If something goes wrong, please email info@scrapyardgolf.co.uk and we will try to resolve the issue quickly.
21. Gift Cards
Redemption
Gift Cards can be used on our website for eligible products. Balances remain on the card. If your purchase exceeds your balance, pay the difference with another method.
Limitations
Gift Cards:

expire 12 months from issue
-
cannot be used in-venue
-
cannot be reloaded, transferred, or redeemed for cash
-
cannot purchase other gift cards
-
unused balances cannot be transferred
Risk of Loss
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or used-without-permission gift cards.
Limitation of Liability
If a Gift Card is non-functional, our only responsibility is to replace it.
General
We may update Gift Card terms at any time.
